For Aaron Shilts, CEO of NetSPI, proactive security is a non-negotiable addition to the stack.
“You can buy all the tech in the world, but if you don’t back it up with a team and processes, you’re leaving vulnerabilities wide open,” he warns.
Aaron highlights that trust also depends on visibility. “Most organizations don’t even know what they have in their IT environment. Shadow IT and blind spots are massive risks, and AI Agents just add to the mayhem here. If I were an Enterprise AI founder I’d prioritize giving clients full visibility into what is being done, by what and where at any given point.”
The lesson for would-be-founders and Enterprise IT providers is clear.
Transparency, full visibility and integration to the best-in-class proactive security measures is a must if you intend to deploy AI to the data of others.
