Duane is the Director of Product Management at NetSPI. Prior to his role on our team, Duane was Senior Director of Product at Radisys and Director of OpenStack Product Management at Cisco, and has also held software engineering positions at both Cisco and IBM. A senior leader with a proven track record of creating & implementing product vision, technical and channel partnership, and launching & managing cloud, virtualization, security and networking products that have achieved market leadership, Duane joined Team NetSPI in early 2024.

Duane authored Self-Defending Networks: the Next Generation of Network Security with Cisco Press and represented Cisco in the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee to the President (NSTAC).

Duane holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
